Chris Hendren Imaging

Images of the night sky taken with a wide range of
equipment. Most of the images are shot Prime Focus
through a telescope on a computerized mount using
dedicated astronomical CMOS cameras. Earlier images
and wide-angle sky images are often shot via a DSLR
and various camera lenses or a CCD camera.

Images of nature, often shot during my frequent
expeditions to remote areas for the purpose of
astrophotography or trips with my wife to national

parks. There are also images of thunderstorms,

fire, and panoramas from stitching several

frames together into a larger whole. Mostly shot

with DSLR and Mirrorless cameras, though some of

the oldest images are from a 35mm film SLR camera.

A curated selection of what I consider to be

my best images across all categories. These are

the images that inspire me and drive to to

improve my craft and share the world and

universe with others. These pictures are more

or less in chronological order, but I have rearranged

some of them in places in the name of a more

interesting page composition
